Harry Callahan double exposure rooflines
This project feels more like imitation than inspiration - taking some of the best-known double exposures that Harry Callahan produced and replicating them in my own neighbourhood (and beyond). Nevertheless, I enjoyed making them!

This first image was not the first I took - but it was the most genuine imitation, taken on film and exposed to blow out the skies but keep the building in the mid-range.
The remainder are digital images. All (film and digital) were taken in camera, but the nature of my digital camera is such that multiple exposures tend to mid-grey, so the digital ones needed to have the contrast stretched to get the original effect.

I also tried a few digital ones where I didn't stick to the original mono theme / white background. I think there is opportunity here for more experimentation!
